Pneumatic Press Control System

This system required precise feedback and control to ensure smooth and repeatable operation. A Beckhoff CX7000 mini PLC was utilised as the main controller, providing reliable real-time control of the press.

Multiple position sensors were integrated to ensure accurate monitoring of all pneumatic actuator positions. In addition, a safety relay was incorporated to ensure the system entered a safe shutdown state if any safety gates or light curtains were activated.

The system also integrated upstream to ensure that the product was fed at the correct rate.

The system was developed in close collaboration with the client to ensure the final control solution fully met their operational and safety requirements.
